The greatest achievement I can accomplish as an artist, is to manifest works that inspire wonder and inspiration in others.

My main objective is, and had always been, to mystify... for it is through intrigue and questioning, that deeper levels of awareness can open up for those who take the time to look.

I do not offer up definitive answers in my work , for it is my opinion that any solution given is not nearly as significant as what can be discovered by the experience of questioning.

At the age of 2 years old, I accidentally stabbed myself in the left eye with a pocketknife. The incident was extremely traumatic, and ultimately was a catalyst that caused a great deal of emotional turmoil that would follow me much of my life. While I am not 100% blind in the affected eye, the sight is greatly diminished.

It is my assessment, however, that the damage to the physical organ has in many ways allowed me to “see” aspects of the world (reality) around me that would have otherwise been undetected.
